NBSC celebrates World Teachers’ Day

Manolo Fortich Bukidnon – Northern Bukidnon State College (NBSC) joins the celebration of the World Teacher’s Day on October 5, 2022 at the NBSC Covered Court.

Following the theme, “The Transformation of Education Begins with Teachers”, the event was organized by the Human Resource Management Office (HRMO) in coordination with the Office of the Student Affairs and Services (SAS).

The Vice-President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Jovelyn G. Delosa, delivered her welcome address by focusing on the two questions: why you have chosen to be a teacher, and what makes you continue teaching.

During her message, Dr. Catherine Roween C. Almaden, the College President acknowledged all the faculty and staff of NBSC for their unrelenting commitment in serving the institution. Dr. Almaden recognized the efforts of the employees who have been part of the conversion of NBCC to NBSC two years ago.

Meanwhile, students from the different departments presented their talents on singing, dancing, and spoken-word poetry. Selected students also gave heartwarming messages as tribute to their teachers.

The NBSC Faculty Association officers prepared raffle draws that consisted of 15 minor prizes for the teaching personnel. Moreover, pampering sessions and games were also arranged for the teachers and staff after the program.
